For an additional premium, you can upgrade your Base Cover by choosing from the following options, either individually, or in any combination:
Serious condition lump sum optionProvides a one-off lump sum payment to help reduce the financial strain of suffering (for the first time after taking out the cover), from one of 39 specified trauma conditions. The lump sum could be used however you choose, such as rehabilitation expenses or a holiday. Specialist optionGives you cover for specialist consultations and some diagnostic procedures that do not result in hospitalisation.
GP OptionDesigned for those wanting to cover some of their day-to-day health costs such as GP visits and prescriptions.
Dental & optical optionIdeal if you have regular trips to the dentist, chiropractor or the osteopath, or if you need glasses or contacts due to a change in vision.
Help manage the cost of premiums
Premier Health™ also provides a wide range of excess options to help manage the cost of premiums. The higher the excess, the lower the premiums.
If you are a non-smoker, you’ll also pay lower premiums than someone who smokes.
