Please note that any withdrawals (including full and partial retirement and first home, or permanent immigration withdrawals) that are processed after 1 July 2013 will be subject to new identification requirements as required by legislation that comes into effect on that date.
If your withdrawal will take place after 1 July 2013 you will need to provide us with the following:

Identity documents (must be certified copies*)

- New Zealand Drivers Licence; or
- Passport; or
- New Zealand Firearms Licence

OPTION 2
- Birth Certificate; or
- Citizenship Certificate
Together with:
- HANZ 18+ Card; or
- Tertiary student photo ID; or
- Current international driving permit

Proof of residential address (does not need to be certified)

- Bank statement dated within the last 3 months; or
- Any New Zealand Government Department statement dated within the last 3 months; or
- New Zealand utility company statement i.e electricity, gas, phone, SKY dated within the last 3 months

*Certifying your identity documents
All copies of identity documents must be completely legible with clear photos. They must also be certified by an
Approved Person as being a true reproduction of the original document. A TOWER Managed Funds or Fisher Funds representative or an Authorised Distributor can copy and certify documents for you. Alternatively you can ask a Justice of the Peace, New Zealand registered lawyer, accountant, teacher or doctor, Police Officer, Notary Public or Member of Parliament who is not related to you, is not your spouse or partner, and does not live at the same address.
The Approved Person must view the original document (not a fax, photocopy or scan) before writing their name, occupation, date and signature and a statement as follows:
“I certify this to be a true copy of the original document and confirm that it represents the identity of (full name)”.
Certification is valid for three months. We must receive original copies of certified documents.
