For comprehensive covers we'll repair your motorbike if it's damaged by an uninsured vehicle. For third party fire and theft cover we'll repair your motorbike if you can identify the person at fault and the fault was at least 50% theirs.

You won’t pay an excess if you’ve been involved in an accident during the period of insurance, and: 1. you’ve identified the party at fault (name, phone number, and registration number of that other party’s vehicle), and 2. we’re satisfied that the other party was more than 50% at fault.

Does Tower insure motorbikes at market value or agreed value?

Tower insures motorbikes at market value. If your motorbike is written off or stolen, we will settle your claim for the amount your motorbike is worth on the day it's damaged or stolen. 

Am I covered for business use?

No, you are not covered for business use. Our private motorbike policies cover you for driving to work but won't cover using your motorbike for work.

Do you cover drivers on learners and restricted licences?

We do, as long as they are driving inside the conditions of their licence.

How do I make a motorbike insurance claim?

We aim to make claiming on your motorbike insurance as simple as possible. We'll guide you through the process, let you know what happens next, and keep you up to date with any progress. Just call us on  0800 379 372.

 

Can I cancel if I change my mind?

If you're not completely happy with your cover, just let us know within 15 days of the policy start date.

As long as you haven't made any claims during this time, we'll cancel the policy and refund any premium payments you've made. If the policy is not quite right, we might be able to change it to better suit you.
