General terms and conditions

  1. By entering this competition/promotion you agree to and accept all these General Terms and Conditions, as well as the Terms and Conditions below of the relevant competition or promotion
  2. Multiple policy discounts exclude business, commercial vehicle, travel, and some cover under rural policies, GST, government levies and some Optional Special Benefits. Discount varies depending on total number/type of insurance policies you have with Tower
  3. Policy terms, conditions and exclusions, and normal underwriting criteria apply
  4. Information on how to enter the promotion and all instructions appearing on TV, radio, printed material or websites will form part of the General Terms and Conditions for entry into these competitions and promotions. To the extent of any inconsistency in the information shown on the TV, printed material or websites, these General Terms and Conditions will prevail
  5. Under the Privacy Act 1993, all individuals have the right to access and correct their personal information held by Tower. Personal data will not be sold or passed onto third parties
  6. From time to time Tower may also use your information to provide you with communications updating you on the full range of services it offers. If you do not want to receive this information please let us know at any time by calling Tower on 0800 379 372 or by emailing unsubscribe@tower.co.nz
  7. These offers are open to all New Zealand permanent residents. However Tower employees and Tower alliance partners are ineligible to enter

Terms and conditions to apply to mystery weekend giveaway

  1. The General Terms and Conditions above apply to this draw
  2. To be automatically eligible for the prize you must  purchase an eligible Kiwibank insurance policy provided by Tower during the competition period and comply with the policy terms, conditions and normal underwriting criteria
  3. Eligible insurance policies are house, contents, car arranged by Kiwibank and provided by Tower Insurance
  4. Any insurance policy purchased through Tower, FinTel or any other of Tower Alliance partners is not an eligible insurance policy
  5. The competition period is 15 August 2017 to 24 September 2017.
  6. To be eligible to enter, you must receive an eDM from Tower Insurance and Kiwibank.
  7. You will receive one entry to the prize draw per eligible policy purchased
  8. The prize is Deluxe Mystery Break (superior accommodation) - two nights for two people option with a total cost of $1,298.
  9. One winner will be drawn at random after the competition period
  10. Tower will contact the winner by phone or email
  11. If for any reason Tower does not receive a response from the prize winner within one week of the prize draw, Tower reserves the right to either:
    1. Withdraw the prize offer; or
    2. Withdraw the prize offer and redraw a new prize winner at random

Tower Insurance terms and conditions for Prezzy card promotion

  1. To be eligible for this promotion, you must be part of Kepa adviser network and submit a referral to Tower Insurance.
  2. Tower Insurance reserves the right to extend, amend and cancel this promotion.
  3. The promotional period starts at 5pm, 3 August  2017 and ends at 5pm, 30 September 2017.
  4. Only one winner will be announced.
  5. The winner will be the Adviser registering the most new referrals with Tower Insurance between 5pm, 3 August 2017 and 5pm, 30 September 2017.
  6. The winner will receive one $250 Prezzy card.
  7. The winner will be notified by Tower Insurance and every effort will be made to contact the winner.
  8. If we are unable to get a response from the winner within 14 days then the prize will be given to the next adviser with the most referrals.

Online discount terms and conditions

  1. The online discount is a discount off the first year’s company premium for each eligible car, house and contents insurance policy purchased online.
  2. Eligible policies are Standard, Plus, Premium and Landlord’s Plus House Insurance; Standard, Plus and Premium Contents Insurance; Comprehensive, Third Party Fire and Theft and Third Party Car Insurance acquired on Tower Insurance website.
  3. Cover4Travel is not eligible for the discount.
  4. Tower reserves the right to change or remove the offer at any time without notice.
  5. The discount will be fixed on the day you purchase your policy.
  6. A 10% discount applies to the company premium for all policies sold online. As the company premium excludes road wise, taxes and government levies, the total discount will vary and may be less than 10%.
  7. If any other discounts are being applied, discounts will be applied incrementally.

50 Airpoints Dollars™ terms and conditions

  1. The General Terms and Conditions apply to this offer.
  2. To be eligible for the 50 Airpoints Dollars™ you must:
    1. comply with Tower Insurance terms, conditions and normal underwriting criteria;
    2. have registered your Airpoints™ details with us;
    3. contact Tower and take out one or more eligible policies between 12.00am 1 October 2017 and 11.59pm 26 November 2017
    4. have paid at least one premium payment for your new policies; and
    5. have an active eligible policy at the time the Airpoints Dollars are deposited into your account.
  3. Eligible policies are Tower Insurance House, Contents and Comprehensive Car policies.
  4. FinTel, Trade Me Insurance, Kiwibank, TSB, Westpac, ASB and ANZ policies are not eligible for this promotion.
  5. 50 Airpoints Dollars will be allocated per eligible policy taken out to the Airpoints number registered with Tower, regardless of whether a policy is taken out singly or jointly, up to a maximum of 150 Airpoints Dollars.
  6. The Tower Insurance decision is final with respect to all matters relating to this offer and no further correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
  7. The Airpoints Dollars are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  8. Taking out an eligible policy and receiving the Airpoints Dollars will be deemed to constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

    5. Have an active eligible policy at the time the Airpoints Dollars are deposited into your account.

Business insurance $50 Fuel Voucher Terms & Conditions

  1. The General Terms and Conditions apply to this offer.
  2. To be eligible for a $50 Fuel Voucher you must:
    1. Have received an email from Tower Insurance Limited;
    2. Comply with Tower terms, conditions and normal underwriting criteria;
    3. Have an existing business insurance policy with Tower Insurance at the time of receiving the email;
    4. Contact Tower and add an eligible cover between 30 August and 30 September 2017; and
    5. Have an additional eligible business cover that is active at the time we post out your Fuel Voucher.
  3. Eligible business covers are Commercial Vehicle, Business Assets, Business Interruption and Business Liability policies.

  3. The competition period starts at 8am, 1 October 2017 and ends at 5pm, 30 November 2017
  4. Three winners will be announced, one for each prize category: Top Referrer Award, Most Improved Referrer and the Grand Draw. The winner may be the winner in more than one category.
  5. The winner of the Top Referrer Award category will be the Adviser registering the most new referrals with Tower Insurance during the competition period.

  8. The winner of the Most Improved Referrer will receive 500 Airpoints Dollars™. The prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.   9. The winner of the Grand Draw will be drawn at random from all eligible entries. To gain one entry into the draw, an adviser has to contribute at least 10 Fire and General referrals during the competition period. Every subsequent five referrals earn another entry into the draw. Travel survey $500 Prezzy card draw terms and conditions

  1. The General Terms and Conditions apply to this competition.
  2. To be eligible for the $500 Prezzy card prize draw you must:
    1. Have received an email from Tower Insurance Limited
    2. Have completed the three question travel questionnaire;
    3. Have submitted the questionnaire by midnight of 30 November 2017.
  3. The winner will receive one $500 Prezzy card.
  4. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  5. You will receive only one entry to the prize draw regardless of how many times you complete the survey.
  6. One prize winner will be drawn at random on 1 December 2017.
