Smart-home security promotion

  1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms), and Tower's General Promotional terms and conditions (available here), and Tower's Privacy Statement (available here), apply to the "SMART-HOME SECURITY" Promotion (Promotion), referred to together as 'Terms'.
  2. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
  3. The Promotion commences at 12:00am 29 March 2026 and ends at 11:59pm 24 April 2026 (Promotion Period).
  4. Eligible Customers will be offered one Eufy Smart Home Outdoor Security Camera (C210 Solocam) (Home Security Camera).
  5. Subject to these Terms, this Promotion is open to you and you will be an eligible customer if you use or quote the promo code 'CAMERA' (Promo Code):
    1. when you purchase any Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 6 below) directly from Tower (online or over the phone), or following a referral from a Tower partner, broker or adviser (online or over the phone) during the Promotion Period; or
    2. when you save an online quote for an Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period and purchase the policy within 30 days after the expiry of the Promotion Period;
    3. and Tower receives payment of your premium for the new Eligible Policy (either in full for annual payment or at least the first instalment if your payment method is otherwise) by 31 May 2026.

  6. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means a new Tower branded House insurance policy but excludes Landlord's plus cover policies, Contract works - Renovation cover policies, and any other insurance policies with Tower. If you have insured the same asset with Tower in the three months immediately before the Promotion Period, then any new replacement policy will not be eligible.
  7. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
    1. Tower's employees
    2. Customers who purchase Tower policies via CSC Buying Group.
    3. Trade Me Insurance policies.
    4. Customers who purchase Tower policies via HealthCarePlus.
    5. Customers who receive a discount on Tower policies via an arrangement between Tower and their employer.
    6. Policies underwritten by Tower's group companies in the Pacific.
  8. Eligible Customers must purchase and maintain the Eligible Policy for a minimum initial period of 12 months. If an Eligible Policy is cancelled during the initial 12-month period, Tower reserves the right to require the Home Security Camera to be returned.
  9. The Home Security Camera is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Tower reserves the right to substitute the Home Security Camera at its sole discretion.
  10. The Home Security Camera will be sent by courier to the address of the house insured under the Eligible Policy once Tower receives the applicable premium payment.
  11. If, for any reason:
    1. Tower has not received payment of an Eligible Customer's Premium (either in full for annual payment or at least the first instalment if the payment method is otherwise) for the Eligible Policy by 31 May 2026; or
    2. The Home Security Camera cannot be left at the address of the house insured under the Eligible Policy;
      Tower reserves the right to retain the Home Security Camera.
  12. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all Eligible Policies.
  13. Tower reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
    1. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    2. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    3. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.
  14. The Home Security Camera is available from Noel Leeming Limited and subject to Noel Leeming Limited's terms and conditions found here. We will be sharing your information with Noel Leeming Limited in order to fulfil the promotion.
  15. Tower expressly disclaims and does not accept liability in relation to any terms and conditions (or any change to the terms and conditions) relating to the Home Security Camera.
  16. Tower explicitly disclaims and does not accept liability in relation to the performance of the Home Security Camera.
  17. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower and its related companies and affiliates, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or cost suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or by accepting the Home Security Camera.
  18. Tower is not required to pre-populate the Promo Code for purchases of Eligible Policies. For the Promotion to be applied to online purchases, you must ensure the Promo Code has been entered correctly (i.e. exact spelling and no spaces) and for purchases over the phone, you must ensure you quote the Promo Code to the Customer Service Consultant.
  19. If you have saved a quote, but not completed the purchase, prior to commencement of the Promotion Period, this Promotion will not automatically apply to that saved quote.
  20. The Promo Code must only be used once per Eligible Policy.
  21. Unless Tower advises otherwise, the Promo Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
  22. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  23. By purchasing any Eligible Policy using the Promo Code during the Promotion Period in accordance with our standard transaction process, you are bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, then you must not use the Promo Code when purchasing an Eligible Policy.

As a Kiwi born and bred insurer, Tower is focused on helping customers protect the things they love. This promotion is a forward thinking way to add an extra layer of security to your home and help you feel more confident about your home protection.

Who is eligible for this promotion?

This promotion is available on new Tower house policies only (Standard, Plus and Premium), excluding Landlord's plus cover and Contract works - Renovation cover. It is not available on renewals or policy changes. 

To be eligible to receive the camera, your first policy payment must be received by 31 May 2026.

You'll receive a eufy Security SoloCam C210 outdoor camera, valued at $179.99 RRP.

Is the camera weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. With an IP67 weatherproof rating, the camera is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, making it suitable for outdoor use in New Zealand.

Can the camera be used indoors instead?

Yes. Although the eufy SoloCam C210 is marketed as an outdoor camera, it can also be used indoors. Its compact, wire-free design makes it suitable for monitoring areas such as garages, basements, or rooms inside your home.

Is there a subscription or monthly cost?

No. There are no monthly fees. The camera provides up to three months local storage, keeping your footage private and secure.

Do I need internet to use the camera?

Yes. The camera requires a high-speed internet connection to operate and access footage.

Does Tower have access to my camera footage?

No. The eufy Security SoloCam C210 stores video footage locally on the camera itself using built-in internal storage. Footage is owned and controlled by the customer and is not accessible by Tower. 

The camera can store up to approximately three months of footage, depending on usage. Once storage is full, the oldest recordings are automatically overwritten by new footage, unless the customer chooses to delete or download clips earlier. Tower does not receive, store, or have access to any camera recordings.

How do I set up the camera?

The camera is designed for quick and easy setup using its wire-free design. Instructions are included in the box. 

If you'd prefer professional installation, Noel Leeming offers a setup service from $179. Contact them on 0800 737 5223 (option 2) and quote your new policy number.

What if I don't want to receive a camera?

You can opt out at several points:

  • Remove the promo code during online purchase.
  • Tell us you don't want the camera if purchasing over the phone.
  • Use the opt-out link in the confirmation email we send after purchase.

If opting out via email, please let us know within 7 days of receiving that email. 

Can I exchange the camera for another product, model, or cash?

No. The camera cannot be returned or exchanged for a different model or any other item and cannot be redeemed for cash.

When and where will my camera be delivered?

Once your first policy payment is received, we'll pass your details to our partner, Noel Leeming, who will arrange delivery to the insured address on your new policy.

  • You'll receive an email from Noel Leeming with tracking details
  • Delivery typically takes 7-10 business days after the tracking email
  • To be eligible, your first payment must be received by 31 May 2026.
If I buy more than one new house policy, do I get more than one camera?

Yes. You'll receive one camera for each new, eligible policy purchased.

What happens if my camera arrives damaged or faulty?

Please contact Noel Leeming on 0800 737 5223 (option 2) and quote your new policy number.

Who do I contact about delivery or camera questions?
