Be in to win a Kia Sportage promotion

  1. These terms and conditions (Terms), and Tower's General Promotion Terms and Conditions (available here) apply to the "be in to win a Kia Sportage" promotion (Promotion), referred to together as 'Terms'.
  2. If you are an Eligible Customer (see clause 5), you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted the Terms. If you wish to be removed from this Promotion, please contact us using any of the options available here.
  3. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower, us) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
  4. The Promotion commences at 12:00am 29 March 2026 and ends at 11:59pm 9 May 2026 (Promotion Period).
Entry
  1. Subject to these Terms, this Promotion is open to you if:
    1. you are at least 18 years old; and
    2. you reside, and are currently living, in New Zealand; and
    3. you purchase a new Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 7) from Tower during the Promotion Period; and
    4. the Eligible Policy has commenced and is in force on the Draw Date (as defined in clause 12 below); and
    5. by the Draw Date, Tower has received all payments due in respect of your premium for such policy, either:
      1. in full for annual payment; or
      2. at least the first instalment and any subsequent payments due if your payment method is by instalments,
        (Eligible Customer)
  2. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
    1. Tower's employees and their respective immediate families.
    2. Trade Me Insurance policies.
    3. Policies underwritten by Tower's group companies in the Pacific.
  3. For the purposes of this Promotion, an 'Eligible Policy' means the following new Tower branded policies:
    1. Car (Comprehensive, Third Party Fire and Theft and/or Third Party only policies).
    2. Commercial Vehicle (Comprehensive and or Third Party only policies).
      But excludes any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower, including Motorbike, Motorhome, Caravan, and/or Trailer policies. If you held a Tower policy for the same asset insured in the three months immediately before the Promotion Period, then any new replacement policy will not be eligible.
  4. Eligible Customers will receive one entry per Eligible Policy purchased in accordance with these Terms (i.e., purchase two Eligible Policies and receive two entries).
Prize
  1. There is one prize to be won for this Promotion. The winner (Prize Winner) will receive a new 2026 Kia Sportage Light HEV AWD 1.6L-T HYBRID (RRP$54,990+ORC) in Black Sea Blue, including on road costs, current Warrant of Fitness and 12 months of vehicle registration (registration number RRL832) (Prize).
  2. The colour of the Prize Vehicle is dependent on availability and may change due to situations beyond Tower's control. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Tower reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of a similar value.
  3. The Prize Winner is responsible for any additional costs, including motor vehicle insurance, servicing and any vehicle accessories not included in the Prize.
Prize draw
  1. The Prize Winner will be determined by a random draw by Tower from all valid entries on 10 June 2026 (Draw), and if required pursuant to clause 14 of these Terms, on the date where any new Prize Winner is selected (Draw Date). The Prize Winner will be notified by Tower by email or phone within 10 working days from the Draw Date.
  2. Tower will make three reasonable attempts to contact the Prize Winner and the Prize Winner will be asked to provide Tower with:
    1. their full contact details (including first name, last name, email address, phone number and address); and
    2. proof of a valid New Zealand full or restricted driver's license, within 10 working days of that Prize Winner being notified.
  3. If, for any reason:
    1. Tower is unable to contact a Prize Winner or doesn't receive the requested details within 10 working days of the Prize Winner being notified; or
    2. the Prize Winner does not collect the Prize from the dealer within 30 days of the date of the prize draw; or
    3. the terms of clause 5 are not met,
      Tower reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and/or redraw a new Prize Winner.
Collection of Prize
  1. If the Prize Winner is in Auckland, all costs associated with collecting the Prize are the responsibility of the Prize Winner. The Prize must be collected from West City Auto Group Limited, trading as West City Kia (Dealer). The Prize will be available for collection from the date of the prize draw.
  2. If the Winner is located outside of Auckland, Tower will arrange for the Prize to be shipped from Auckland to any location within New Zealand. Tower will cover all reasonable costs associated with shipping the Prize to the Prize Winner.
  3. Promptly upon being notified that they are the Prize Winner, the Prize Winner must sign all documents required to transfer ownership of the Prize into their name.
General
  1. Tower will obtain written permission prior to using the Prize Winner's personal information for marketing and/or publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion. If consent is provided, this information may be published on Tower's website, and/or social media networks, and in communications without compensation.   2. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  3. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  4. All entries remain the property of Tower. All personal information will be collected and stored by Tower in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Tower will use the entrants' personal information to conduct the Promotion. Entrants have the right to access and request correction and deletion of personal information held by Tower.   5. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
    1. Tower reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change any aspect of the Promotion (including the Prize) at any time;
    2. Tower, West City Auto Group Limited and their related companies, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss and any tax liabilities or costs that may arise from winning the Prize) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion, the Draw, or the Prize;
    3. Tower assumes no responsibility for any Prize that may be lost, stolen or damaged in any way following collection of the Prize; and
    4. any warranties, representations or guarantees (whether express or implied) regarding the Prize, including the condition, quality, performance, features, suitability or fitness for purpose are excluded. All warranties, guarantees and representations relating to the Prize are solely the responsibility of West City Auto Group Limited.
