Summer of Surprises promotion

  1. These terms and conditions (Terms), Tower's General Promotion Terms and Conditions (available here), and Tower's General Terms (available here), apply to the "Summer of Surprises" Promotion (Promotion), referred to together as 'Terms'.
  2. By holding an Eligible Policy, you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted the below terms and conditions. If you wish to be removed from this Promotion, please contact us using any of the options available here.
  3. In these Terms:
    1. Tower means Tower Limited; and
    2. Allianz Partners means AWP Services New Zealand Limited trading as Allianz Partners.
  4. The Promotion begins at 12:00am Saturday 1 November 2025 and ends at 11:59pm Tuesday 31 March 2026 (Promotion Period).
  5. The Promotion will consist of 45 separate draws (each, a Draw) with draw periods as follows:
    1. Entries to the first draw period will open at 12:00am on 1 November 2025 and close at 11:59pm on 30 November 2025 (First Draw Period).
    2. Entries to the second draw period will open at 12:00am on 1 December 2025 and close at 11:59pm on 31 December 2025 (Second Draw Period).
    3. Entries to the third draw period will open at 12:00am on 1 January 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 31 January 2026 (Third Draw Period).
    4. Entries to the fourth draw period will open at 12:00am on 1 February 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 28 February 2026 (Fourth Draw Period).
    5. Entries to the fifth draw period will open at 12:00am on 1 March 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 31 March 2026 (Fifth Draw Period).
      (each, a Draw Period).
  6. There are 45 prizes to be won for this Promotion in total, made up of:
    1. 10 prizes in respect of the First Draw Period;
    2. 10 prizes in respect of the Second Draw Period;
    3. 5 prizes in respect of the Third Draw Period;
    4. 10 prizes in respect of the Fourth Draw Period; and
    5. 10 prizes in respect of the Fifth Draw Period.
  7. The forty-five winners will each receive one Prize in respect of this Promotion (each, a Prize Winner). Eligible Customers (see clause 10 below) will receive one entry during the Promotion Period per Eligible Policy (i.e., hold two Eligible Policies and receive two entries).
  8. Prize Winners for the respective Draw Periods will receive a prize as follows:
    1. In respect of the First Draw Period, Prize Winners will each receive gift cards totalling $1,000 of their choice from one of the following two retailers:
      1. Woolworths New Zealand; or
      2. New World.
    2. In respect of the Second Draw Period, Prize Winners will each receive Z Energy gift cards valued at $1,000.
    3. In respect of the Third Draw Period, Prize Winners will each receive Mitre 10 gift cards totalling $2,000
    4. In respect of the Fourth Draw Period, Prize Winners will each receive one Prezzy Card valued at $1,000.
    5. In respect of the Fifth Draw Period, Prize Winners will each receive one Noel Leeming voucher valued at $1,000
      (each, a Prize).
  1. Each Prize Winner can only win one Prize during the Promotion.
  2. Subject to these Terms, entry into a Draw is open to you if:
    1. you hold an Eligible Policy (see clause 11 below) with Tower during the period of that Draw; and
    2. that Eligible Policy has not been cancelled at the relevant Draw Date (see clause 19 below); and
    3. by the relevant Draw Date:
      1. by the relevant Draw Date:
        1. Tower has received all payments due in respect of your premium for an Eligible Policy, either:
        2. at least the first instalment and any subsequent payments due if your payment method is by instalments.
          or
      2. Allianz Partners has received payment of your premium on behalf of Tower for an Eligible Policy in full at the relevant Draw Date.
        (Eligible Customer).
  1. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means any Tower-branded policy that is current during the relevant Draw Period.
  2. Tower travel insurance and Tower pet insurance are issued and managed by Allianz Partners and underwritten by Tower.
  3. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
    1. Tower's employees.
    2. Allianz Partners employees.
    3. Trade Me Insurance policies.
    4. Policies underwritten by Tower's group companies in the Pacific.
  4. Unless Tower advises otherwise, this Promotion can be participated in along with any other Tower offer, discount, or promotion.
  5. The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  6. The Prize is subject to the retailer’s own terms and conditions, which can be found here:

  7. Tower and Allianz Partners expressly disclaim and do not accept liability in relation to any terms and conditions (or any change to the terms and conditions) relating to the respective Prizes, including in relation to any expiry date.
  8. Tower and Allianz Partners expressly disclaim and do not accept liability in relation to the performance of services by the provider of the respective Prize.
  9. Each Prize Winner will be determined by a random draw by Tower from all valid entries received in the relevant Draw Period and, if required, on the date which any new Prize Winner is selected. Tower will make a random draw as follows:
    1. In the case of the First Draw Period that opens at 12:00am on 1 November 2025 and closes at 11:59pm on 30 November 2025, the Draw will take place on 2 December 2025.
    2. In the case of the Second Draw Period that opens at 12:00am on 1 December 2025 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 December 2025, the Draw will take place on 13 January 2026.
    3. In the case of the Third Draw Period that opens at 12:00am on 1 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 January 2026, the Draw will take place on 3 February 2026.
    4. In the case of the Fourth Draw Period that opens at 12:00am on 1 February 2026 and closes at 11:59pm 28 February 2026, the Draw will take place on 3 March 2026
    5. In the case of the Fifth Draw Period that opens at 12:00am on 1 March 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 March 2026, the Draw will take place on 7 April 2026.
      (each, a Draw Date).
  10.  The Prize Winners will be notified by Tower by phone or email within five working days of the relevant Draw Date.
  11. Each Prize Winner will be asked to provide Tower with their contact details (including first name, last name, email address, phone number, and address) within 10 working days of that Prize Winner being contacted by Tower to advise that they are a Prize Winner. Each Prize Winner will be sent their Prize by courier. Tower reserves the right to withdraw any Prize and re-draw a new Prize Winner if:
    1. Tower is unable to contact a Prize Winner within 10 working days of the Prize Winner being drawn; or
    2. the terms of clause 10 are not met.
  12. Tower will obtain written permission prior to using any Prize Winners’ personal information (including their name, city or town) for marketing and/or publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion.  If consent is provided, this information may be published on Tower’s website and/or social media networks, and in communications. Please refer to Tower’s Privacy Statement for more information.
  13. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  14. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, sub-limits and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  15. Tower reserves the right to, at its sole discretion:
    1. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    2. substitute a Prize with another prize of a similar value;
    3. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    4. change any aspect of the Promotion at any time, at its sole discretion.
  16. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower Limited and Allianz Partners and their related companies, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this Promotion or accepting a Prize.
  17. All entries remain the property of Tower. All personal information will be collected and stored by Tower in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Tower will use the entrants' personal information to conduct the Promotion. Entrants have the right to access and request correction and deletion of personal information held by Tower.
