  1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”), and Tower’s General Promotion Terms and Conditions (available here) and Tower’s General Terms (available here), apply to the "TRAVEL – BE IN TO WIN 1 OF 5 $1000 TRAVEL GIFT CARDS promotion (“Promotion”).
  2. By purchasing an Eligible Policy, you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted the below terms and conditions unless you request otherwise.
  3. In these Terms:
    1. Tower means Tower Limited; and
    2. Allianz Partners means AWP Services New Zealand Limited trading as Allianz Partners.
  4. The Promotion commences at 12.00am Wednesday 24 April 2024 and ends at 11.59 pm Wednesday 31 July 2024 (“Promotion Period”).
  5. This Promotion is open to you if:
    1. you purchase a new Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 6) from Tower during the Promotion Period;
    2. that Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 6) has not been cancelled at the Draw Date; and
    3. Allianz Partners has received payment of your premium on behalf of Tower for such Eligible Policy in full at the Draw Date,

    (“Eligible Customer”).  References to you in these terms means the person identified as “Adult 1” on the application for the Eligible Policy.

  6. For the purposes of this Promotion, an “Eligible Policy” means any new Tower travel insurance policy (domestic or international) and excludes any other insurance policies with Tower purchased by any means.  Further, you must not have held that specific type of Tower travel insurance policy for the same destination and travel dates 3 months prior to the start date of this Promotion.
  7. Tower travel insurance is issued and managed by Allianz Partners and underwritten by Tower.
  8. Tower and Allianz Partners employees and their respective immediate families and/or people residing with them are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
  9. Eligible Customers will receive one entry per Eligible Policy purchased in accordance with these Terms (i.e., purchase two Eligible Policies and receive two entries).
  10. There are five Prizes to be won for this Promotion and the five winners (“Prize Winners”) will each receive a $1,000 (including any fees or GST) travel gift card of their choice from one of the following three travel providers: (Flight Centre, Helloworld or House of Travel) (“Prize”).
  11. Each Prize Winner can only win one Prize during the Promotion (even if they have purchased more than 1 Eligible Policy).
  12. The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Tower reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of a similar value.

  14. Tower expressly disclaims and does not accept liability in relation to any terms and conditions (or any change to the terms and conditions) relating to the Prize.
  15. Tower expressly disclaims and does not accept any liability in relation to the performance of services by the Prize Winners chosen travel provider.
  16. The Prize Winners are responsible for organising any travel, visas and accommodation.
  17. The Prize Winners will be determined by a random draw by Tower on 12 August 2024 (“Draw”), or if required pursuant to clause 19 of these Terms, on the date where any new Prize Winner is selected (“Draw Date”).  The Prize Winners will be notified by Tower by email within five working days from the Draw Date.
  18. The Prize Winners will be asked to provide Tower with their full contact details (including first name, last name, email address, phone number and address) within 10 working days of that Prize Winner being notified.
  19. If, for any reason:
    1. Tower is unable to contact a Prize Winner within 10 working days of the Prize Winner being drawn;
    2. Allianz Partners has not received payment of a Prize Winner’s Premium on behalf of Tower in full prior to the Draw Date; or
    3. a Prize Winner’s Eligible Policy has been cancelled prior to the Draw Date,

    Tower reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and/or re-draw a new Prize Winner.

  20. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram, and you fully release Facebook and Instagram from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  21. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, sub-limits, minimum premiums and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  22. Tower reserves the right to:
    1. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    2. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    3. change, extend, suspend, terminate or re-schedule any part or all of the Promotion at any time,

    at its sole discretion.

  23. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower Limited and Allianz Partners and their related companies, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this Promotion or accepting a Prize.
  24. All entries remain the property of Tower All personal information will be collected and stored by Tower in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Tower will use the entrants’ personal information to conduct the Promotion. Entrants have the right to access and request correction and deletion of personal information held by Tower.
