Win your car renewal premium on us

  1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms), and Tower's General Promotional terms and conditions (available here), and Tower's General Terms (available here), apply to the "Win your car renewal premium on us" Promotion (Promotion), referred to together as 'Terms'.
  2. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
  3. If this Promotion applies and you are an Eligible Customer, you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted the below terms and conditions. If you wish to be removed from this Promotion, please contact us using any of the options available here.
  4. The Promotion commences at 12:00am Monday 1 December 2025 and ends at 11:59pm Sunday 31 May 2026 (Promotion Period).
  5. The Promotion will consist of 6 separate draws of 10 Prizes per draw (each, a Draw) with draw periods as follows:
    1. For Eligible Policies renewed in December 2025, entries will open at 12:00am on 1 December 2025 and close at 11:59pm on 31 December 2025.
    2. For Eligible Policies renewed in January 2026, entries will open at 12:00am on 1 January 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 31 January 2026.
    3. For Eligible Policies renewed in February 2026, entries will open at 12:00am on 1 February 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 28 February 2026.
    4. For Eligible Policies renewed in March 2026, entries will open at 12:00am on 1 March 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 31 March 2026.
    5. For Eligible Policies renewed in April 2026, entries will open at 12:00am on 1 April 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 30 April 2026.
    6. For Eligible Policies renewed in May 2026, entries will open at 12:00am on 1 May 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 31 May 2026.
  1. (each, a Draw Period).
  1. There are 60 prizes to be won in total for this Promotion and there will be ten prize winners in respect of each Draw Period (each, a Prize Winner). Eligible Customers will receive one entry per Eligible Policy renewed in accordance with these Terms (e.g. renew two Eligible Policies and receive two entries).
  2. Each Prize Winner will receive a one-off refund and/or credit on the total annual premium payable in respect of the renewed Eligible Policy. The Prize will be calculated based on the annualised premium paid or payable by the customer when that Eligible Policy was renewed (including GST, fees and levies) (Premium). The prize amount will not be adjusted to reflect any changes a Prize Winner subsequently makes to its Eligible Policy after the relevant Draw Period, which increase or decrease the Premium. The prize amount will be the lower of:
    1. the Premium; or
    2. $3,000 (including GST)
  1. (Prize).
  1. Depending on how you pay your Premium, the Prize will be delivered as:
    1. a refund on Premium paid for the renewed Eligible Policy as at the Draw Date; and/or
    2. a credit to the Premium if there is a balance owing for the renewed Eligible Policy.
  2. If a Prize Winner's Premium is more than $3,000 (including GST), that Prize Winner must pay the remaining balance of their Premium.
  3. Subject to these Terms, this Promotion is available to you if:
    1. you renew an Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 12 below) during the applicable Promotion Period; and
    2. the Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 12 below) has commenced and is in force on the applicable Draw Date (as defined in clause 18 below); and
    3. you have received an email confirming you are in the applicable Draw.
  1. (Eligible Customer).
  1. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
    1. Tower's employees.
    2. Trade Me Insurance policies.
    3. Policies underwritten by Tower's group companies in the Pacific.
  2. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means the following Tower-branded policies:
    1. Car (Comprehensive. Third Party Fire and Theft and/or Third Party only policies); or
    2. Commercial Vehicle (Comprehensive and/or Third Party only policies)
  1. But excludes any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower, including Contract Works insurance-renovation cover policies and Lifestyle block policies.
  1. Unless Tower advises otherwise, this Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, except for the 'Great Summer Promo', 'Win your house renewal premium on us' and 'Win your contents renewal premium on us' promotions.
  2. Each Prize Winner can only win one Prize during the Promotion.
  3. If an Eligible Customer has more than one Eligible Policy entered into the Promotion, the Prize will be determined based on the relevant Eligible Policy that has been drawn.
  4. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other benefit.
  5. If an Eligible Policy is cancelled during its term, the Prize will be forfeited. If the Prize Winner is owed a refund on any premium paid in respect of the Eligible Policy, the refund will be calculated in accordance with Tower's policy terms.
  6. Each Prize Winner will be determined by a random draw by Tower from all valid entries obtained in the relevant Draw Period and, if required, on the date where any new Prize Winner is selected. Tower will make a random draw within fifteen business days of the end of the applicable Draw Period (each, a Draw Date).
  7. The Prize Winners will be notified by Tower by email or phone within five working days from the Draw Date.
  8. If, for any reason:
    1. the terms of clause 10 are not met; or
    2. a Prize Winner's Eligible Policy is not in force on the Draw Date,
  1. Tower reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and re-draw a new Prize Winner.
  1. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, sub-limits and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  2. Tower will obtain written permission prior to using any Prize Winner's personal information (including their name, photograph, city, and/or town) for marketing and/or publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion. If consent is provided, this information may be published on Tower's website, and/or social media networks, and in communications without compensation. Please refer to Tower's Privacy Statement for more information.
  3. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram, and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  4. Tower reserves the right to:
    1. change or revoke the Promotion to ensure that the Promotion applied is correct for the purposes of these Terms;
    2. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    3. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    4. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.

  1. All entries remain the property of Tower. All personal information will be collected and stored by Tower in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Tower will use the entrants' personal information to conduct the Promotion. Entrants have the right to access and request correction and deletion of personal information held by Tower.
