Be in to win $200 Marine Deal e-Gift Voucher promotion

  1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms), and Tower's General Promotion terms and conditions (available here), and Tower's General Terms (available here), apply to the "Be in to win $200 Marine Deal e-Gift Voucher" Promotion (Promotion), referred to together as 'Terms'.
  2. If this Promotion applies and you are an Eligible Participant, you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted the below terms and conditions. If you wish to be removed from this Promotion, please contact us using any of the options available here.
  3. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower, us) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
  4. The Promotion commences at 12:00am Wednesday 21 January 2026 and ends at 11:59pm Tuesday 31 March 2026 (Promotion Period).
  5. This Promotion is open to you if:
    1. you purchase a new Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 7) from Tower, during the Promotion Period, through your dedicated Coastguard Tower portal or by contacting Tower directly quoting your employment, volunteer status or membership with Coastguard; and
    2. that Eligible Policy has not been cancelled at the relevant Draw Date (see clause 14 below); and
    3. by the relevant Draw Date Tower has received all payments due in respect of your premium for an Eligible Policy, either:
      1. in full for an annual payment; or
      2. at least the first instalment and any subsequent payments due if your payment method is by instalments, and
    4. you are a Coastguard Member. A Member means the individual financial Member who maintains an active paid-up subscription with the Royal New Zealand Coastguard Inc (Coastguard); or
    5. you are a Current Employee or a Volunteer of Coastguard (Coastguard Employee or Volunteer). A Current Employee is any person who is currently employed by Coastguard under a full-time, part-time, or other employment contract. A Volunteer is a person who gives their time, skills and effort freely in an unpaid capacity to Coastguard New Zealand.

  6. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
    1. Tower's employees and their respective immediate families.
    2. Trade Me Insurance policies.
    3. Policies underwritten by Tower's group companies in the Pacific.
  7. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means a new Tower branded Boat insurance policy and excludes any other insurance policies with Tower purchased by any means.
  8. Eligible Participants will receive one entry per Eligible Policy purchased in accordance with these Terms (i.e., purchase two Eligible Policies and receive two entries).
  9. There are five prizes to be won by Coastguard Members under this Promotion and five prizes to be won by Coastguard Employees or Volunteers. The ten prize winners (Prize Winners) will each receive one Marine Deals e-gift voucher valued at $200 (Prize).
  10. The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Tower reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of a similar value.
  11. The Prize is subject to Marine Deals Limited's terms and conditions found here.
  12. Tower explicitly disclaims and does not accept liability in relation to any terms and conditions (or any change to the terms and conditions) relating to the Prize, including in relation to the expiry date (if any).
  13. Tower explicitly disclaims and does not accept any liability in relation to the provision of goods or performance of services by Marine Deals Limited.
  14. The five Member Prize Winners will be determined by a random draw by Tower from all valid entries on Monday 4 May 2026 (Member Draw), or if required pursuant to clause 17 of these Terms, on the date when any new Prize Winner is selected (Member Draw Date). The Member Prize Winners will be notified by Tower by email within five working days from the Member Draw Date.
  15. The Coastguard Employee or Volunteer Prize Winners will be determined by a random draw by Tower from all valid entries on Tuesday 5 May 2026 (Coastguard Employee or Volunteer Draw), or if required pursuant to clause 17 of these Terms, on the date when any new Prize Winner is selected (Coastguard Employee or Volunteer Draw Date). The Coastguard Employee or Volunteer Prize Winners will be notified by Tower by email within five working days from the Coastguard Employee or Volunteer Draw Date.
  16. All of the Prize Winners will be asked to provide Tower with their full contact details (including first name, last name, email address, phone number and address) within 10 working days of that Prize Winner being notified.
  17. If, for any reason:
    1. Tower is unable to contact a Prize Winner within 10 working days of the Prize Winner being drawn; or
    2. the terms of clause 5 are not met,
      Tower reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and/or re-draw a new Prize Winner.
  18. Tower will obtain written permission prior to using the Prize Winner's personal information (including their name, photograph, city and/or town) for marketing and/or publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion. If consent is provided, this information may be published on Tower's website, and/or social media networks, and in communications without compensation. Please refer to Tower's Privacy Statement for more information.
  19. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  20. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  21. Tower reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
    1. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    2. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    3. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.
  22. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower Limited and its related companies, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this Promotion or accepting the Prize.
