Win a $1,000 home prize promotion

1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms), Tower's General Promotion terms and conditions (available here), and Tower's General Terms (available here) apply to the "Win a $1,000 home prize promotion" (Promotion), referred to together as Terms.
2. If you are an Eligible Customer (see clause 7), Tower will automatically enter you into the Promotion and you are deemed to have accepted the Terms unless you request otherwise.

Promoter

3. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower) at Level 5/136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010.

Promotion Period

4. The Promotion begins at 8:00am on Sunday 12 May 2024 and ends at 11:59pm on Saturday 20 July 2024 (Promotion Period).

Prize details

5. There are ten prizes to be won for this Promotion. Eligible Customers will receive one entry per Eligible Policy (see Clause 9) held in accordance with these Terms (i.e., hold two Eligible Policies and receive two entries). One entry is available per Eligible Policy, regardless of the number of policy holders listed.
6. Subject to clause 16(b) and 17, Prize winners (Prize Winners) will have the choice to receive one of the following two prizes (Prize):
   
   1. e-gift cards for Mitre 10 valued at $1,000; or
   2. Eufy Cam 3 home security camera system (2 pack) and installation from Noel Leeming, see more on the camera system here and more on the installation here.

Eligibility

7. Subject to these Terms, this Promotion is available to you, and you will be an eligible customer if:
   
   1. you purchase or hold an Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period; and
   2. the Eligible Policy (see clause 9) has commenced and has not been cancelled as at the Draw Date (see clause 12); and
   3. as at the Draw Date, Tower has received all payments due in respect of your premium for such policy,
      
      (Eligible Customer).
8. This Promotion does not apply to Tower's employees.
9. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means the following Tower branded policies:
   
   1. House (Premium, Plus, and/or Standard policies);
   2. Contract Works – Renovation cover policies;
   3. Landlord (Plus policy); and
   4. Contents (Premium, Plus, and/or Standard policies),
      
      but excludes:
   5. Lifestyle block and farm insurance policies; and
   6. any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower, including but not limited to any Trade Me Insurance policies.

Promotion details

10. Each Prize Winner can only win one Prize during the Promotion (even if they hold more than one Eligible Policy).
11. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other benefit.
12. The Prize Winners will be determined by a random draw by Tower from all valid entries on Monday 26 August 2024 (Draw), and if required pursuant to clause 14 of these Terms, on the date where any new Prize Winner is selected (Draw Date). The Prize Winners will be notified by Tower by email or phone within five working days from the Draw Date.
13. The Prize Winners will be asked to provide Tower with their contact details (including first name, last name, email address, phone number, and address) and choice of Prize within 10 working days of that Prize Winner being contacted by Tower to advise they are a Prize Winner.
14. Tower reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and re-draw a new Prize Winner if:
    
    1. Tower is unable to contact a Prize Winner within 10 working days of the Prize Winner being drawn; or
    2. the terms of clause 7 are not met.

General

15. Policy terms, excesses, conditions, exclusions, limits, minimum premiums, and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
16. Tower reserves the right to, at its sole discretion:
    
    1. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    2. substitute a Prize with another prize of a similar value;
    3. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    4. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.
17. The Prize is subject to Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited or The Warehouse Group (trading as Noel Leeming) terms and conditions (as applicable). 
18. Tower expressly disclaims and does not accept liability in relation to any terms and conditions (or any change to the terms and conditions) relating to the Prize.
19. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower and its related companies and affiliates, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or cost suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this Promotion or accepting a Prize.
