SAVE75 discount

  1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms), and Tower's General Promotional terms and conditions (available here), and Tower's General Terms (available here), apply to the "SAVE75 discount" Promotion (Promotion), referred to together as 'Terms'.
  2. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
  3. In these Terms, Tower Premium means the amount of premium retained by Tower and does not include:
    1. Fire and Emergency New Zealand levy; and
    2. Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  4. The Promotion commences at 8:00am Sunday 13 April 2025 and ends at 11:59pm Saturday 5 July 2025 (Promotion Period).
  5. Subject to clause 6, this Promotion applies to you if you use/quote the promo code 'SAVE75' (Promo Code):
    1. when you purchase any Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 7 below) directly from Tower (online or over the phone), or following a referral from a Tower partner, broker or adviser (online or over the phone) during the Promotion Period; or
    2. when you save an online quote for an Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period and purchase the policy within 30 days after the expiry of the Promotion Period;
    3. and the period of insurance for the Eligible Policy purchased under this Promotion begins within 49 days of the purchase date. 
  6. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
    1. Tower's employees.
    2. Customers who purchase Tower policies via CSC Buying Group. 
    3. Customers who receive a discount on Tower policies via an arrangement between Tower and their employer.
    4. Trade Me Insurance policies.
    5. Customers who purchase Tower policies via HealthCarePlus.
    6. Policies underwritten by Tower's group companies in the Pacific.
  7. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means the following new Tower-branded policies:
    1. Car insurance Comprehensive cover; 
    2. Commercial vehicle insurance Comprehensive cover; 
    3. Contents insurance.
      But excludes all of the following:
    4. Car insurance Third Party Fire and Theft, and Third Party only cover;
    5. Commercial vehicle insurance Third Party only cover;
    6. House insurance;
    7. House insurance Landlord's Plus cover;
    8. Contract Works insurance - renovation cover policies;
    9. Boat, Pet, and Travel insurance policies;
    10. Lifestyle block and farm insurance policies;
    11. any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower.

    If you have insured the same asset with Tower in the three months immediately before the Promotion Period, then any new replacement policy will not be eligible.

  8. If this Promotion applies, then a one-off discount of NZ$75 per Eligible Policy will be deducted from the first year's annual premium for each Eligible Policy purchased (Discount).
  9. If you pay your premiums for an Eligible Policy in instalments, the Discount will be spread across the instalments. 
  10. If an Eligible Policy does not run for the full annual policy period (for example, if there is a mid-term cancellation), the Discount applied will be pro-rated to the length of the Eligible Policy.
  11. Tower is not required to pre-populate the Promo Code for purchases of Eligible Policies. For the Discount to be applied to online purchases, you must ensure the Promo Code has been entered correctly (i.e. exact spelling and no spaces) and for purchases over the phone, you must ensure you quote the Promo Code to the agent. 
  12. If you have saved a quote, but not completed the purchase, prior to commencement of the Promotion Period, this Promotion will not automatically apply to the saved quote. 
  13. The Promo Code must only be used once per Eligible Policy. 
  14. The Discount will not apply to any renewal of the Eligible Policy. The premiums for renewal of an Eligible Policy will be assessed and set at the prevailing premiums at the time of each such renewal. 
  15. Unless Tower advises otherwise, the Promo Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, except for the Tower multi-policy discount (terms and conditions available here). If applicable, the Discount will be applied after any applicable Tower multi-policy discount has been applied.
  16. The Discount cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
  17. The Discount will be deducted from the Tower Premium and GST will then be added to result in a maximum total discount of $75 on each Eligible Policy. 
  18. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  19. Policy term, conditions, exclusions, limits and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  20. By purchasing any Eligible Policy using the Promo Code during the Promotion Period in accordance with our standard transaction process, you are bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, then you must not use the Promo Code when purchasing an Eligible Policy. 
  21. Tower reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
    1. change or revoke the Discount to ensure that the Discount applied is correct for the purposes of these Terms;
    2. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    3. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    4. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.
