Be in to win 1 of 10 $1,000 travel gift cards promotion

  1. These terms and conditions (Terms), and Tower's General Promotion Terms and Conditions (available here), apply to the "Be in to win 1 of 10 $1,000 travel gift cards" promotion (Promotion), referred to together as 'Terms'.
  2. If you are an Eligible Customer, (as defined in clause 5), you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted the Terms. If you wish to be removed from this Promotion, please contact us using any of the options available here.
  3. In these Terms:
    1. Tower means Tower Limited; and
    2. Allianz Partners means AWP Services New Zealand Limited trading as Allianz Partners.
  4. The Promotion commences at 12.00am Friday 22 May 2026 and ends at 11.59pm Friday 14 August 2026 (Promotion Period).
  5. Subject to these Terms, this Promotion is open to you if:
    1. you purchase a new Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 6) from Tower during the Promotion Period; and
    2. that Eligible Policy has not been cancelled at the Draw Date (as defined in clause 16); and
    3. Allianz Partners has received payment of your premium on behalf of Tower for such Eligible Policy in full at the Draw Date,

(Eligible Customer). References to you in these terms means the person identified as "Adult 1" on the application for the Eligible Policy.

  1. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means any new Tower branded travel insurance policy (domestic or international) and excludes any other insurance policies with Tower purchased by any means. Further, to constitute an Eligible Policy, you must not have held that specific type of Tower policy for the same destination and travel dates in the three months prior to the start of the Promotion Period.
  2. Tower travel insurance is issued and managed by Allianz Partners and underwritten by Tower.
  3. Tower and Allianz Partners employees and their respective immediate families are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
  4. Eligible Customers will receive one entry per Eligible Policy purchased in accordance with these Terms (i.e. purchase two Eligible Policies and receive two entries).
  5. There are ten prizes to be won for this Promotion and the ten winners (Prize Winners) will each receive a House of Travel gift card valued at $1,000 (including any fees or GST) (Prize).
  6. Each Prize Winner can only win one Prize during the Promotion (even if they have purchased more than one Eligible Policy).
  7. The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Tower reserves the right to substitute a Prize with another prize of a similar value.
  8. The Prizes are subject to House of Travel Limited's terms and conditions found here.
  9. Tower and Allianz Partners explicitly disclaim and do not accept any liability in relation to any terms and conditions (or any change to the terms and conditions) relating to the Prizes, including in relation to the expiry date.
  10. Tower and Allianz Partners explicitly disclaim and do not accept any liability in relation to the provision of goods or performance of services by House of Travel Limited.
  11. The Prize Winners will be determined by a random draw by Tower from all valid entries on Tuesday 25 August 2026 (Draw), or if required pursuant to clause 19 of these Terms, on the date when any new Prize Winner is selected (Draw Date). The Prize Winners will be notified by Tower by email within five working days from the Draw Date.
  12. The Prize Winners are responsible for organising any travel, passport and visas, insurance and accommodation.
  13. Tower will make three reasonable attempts to contact each Prize Winner and the Prize Winners will be asked to provide Tower with their full contact details (including first name, last name, email address, phone number and address) within 10 working days of that Prize Winner being notified.
  14. If for any reason:
    1. Tower is unable to contact a Prize Winner within 10 working days of that Prize Winner being drawn; or
    2. the terms of clause 5 are not met,

Tower reserves the right to withdraw a Prize and/or re-draw a new Prize Winner.

  1. Tower will obtain written permission prior to using any Prize Winner's personal information (including their name, photograph, city and/or town) for marketing and/or publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion. If consent is provided, this information may be published on Tower's website, and/or social media networks, and in communications without compensation. Please refer to Tower's Privacy Statement for more information.
  2. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta Platforms and you fully release Facebook, Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  3. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits, sub-limits and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  4. Tower reserves the right to:
    1. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period; and/or
    2. change, extend, suspend, terminate, or re-schedule any part or all of the Promotion at any time

at its sole discretion.

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower Limited and Allianz Partners and their related companies, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to loss of profits, direct loss, indirect or consequential loss any tax liabilities or costs that may arise from winning the Prize) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this Promotion, the Draw, or the Prize. 
  2. All entries remain the property of Tower. All personal information will be collected and stored by Tower in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Tower will use the entrants' personal information to conduct the Promotion. Entrants have the right to access and request correction and deletion of personal information held by Tower.   3. The Promoter is Tower Limited, Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street Auckland 1010. The promotion is being run by Tower Limited. AWP Services New Zealand Limited trading as Allianz Partners has no affiliation with this promotion.
