EASYSAVE discount

  1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms) and Tower's Privacy Statement (available here) apply to the "EASYSAVE discount" Promotion (Promotion).
  2. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower, us) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
  3. In these Promotion Terms, Tower Premium means the base premium, being the amount of premium we charge you for your policy/policies before we add any taxes, levies and other amounts payable to third parties (including GST, Fire and Emergency levies and Natural Hazards Commission levies).
  4. The Promotion commences at 12:00am Sunday 20 September 2026 and ends at 11:59pm Saturday 30 January 2027 (Promotion Period).
  5. Subject to these Promotion Terms, this Promotion is open to you and you will be an eligible customer if you use/quote the promo code ‘EASYSAVE' (Promo Code):
    1. when you purchase any Eligible Policy (as defined in clause 7 below) directly from Tower (online or over the phone), or following a referral from a Tower partner, broker or adviser (online or over the phone) during the Promotion Period; or
    2. when you save an online quote for an Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period and purchase the policy within 30 days after the expiry of the Promotion Period; and
    3. the period of insurance for the Eligible Policy purchased under this Promotion begins within 49 days of the purchase date,

(Eligible Customer).

  1. This Promotion does not apply to the following:
    1. Tower's employees.
    2. Customers who already receive a discount on their Tower policy through their employer or another arrangement with Tower.
    3. Trade Me Insurance policies or Westpac Insurance policies.
    4. Policies underwritten by Tower's group companies in the Pacific.
  1. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means the following new Tower-branded policies:

    1. Car insurance and Commercial vehicle insurance (Comprehensive cover);
    2. House insurance (Premium, Plus and/or Standard policies);
    3. House insurance Landlord's Plus cover; and/or
    4. Contents insurance (Premium, Plus and/or Standard policies),

    But excludes all of the following:

    1. Third Party Fire and Theft cover, and/or Third Party only car insurance policies and commercial vehicle insurance policies;
    2. Lifestyle block and farm insurance policies;
    3. Contract works - Renovation cover policies; and
    4. any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower.

    If you have insured the same asset with Tower in the three months immediately before the Promotion Period, then any new replacement policy will not be eligible.

  1. If you are an Eligible Customer, then a one-off discount per Eligible Policy will be deducted from the first year's Tower Premium only for each Eligible Policy purchased. The GST will then be added to result in a total amount discounted as follows (Discount):
    1. Tower House (including Landlord’s Plus) cover: $200 discount per Eligible Policy.
    2. Tower Comprehensive Car (including Commercial Vehicle Comprehensive) cover: $100 discount per Eligible Policy.
    3. Tower Contents cover: $100 discount per Eligible Policy.
  1. If you pay your first year’s premium for an Eligible Policy in instalments, the Discount will be spread across the instalments payable in the first year of the Eligible Policy.
  2. If an Eligible Policy does not run for the full annual policy period (for example, if there is a mid-term cancellation), the Discount applied will be pro-rated to the length of that Eligible Policy.
  3. For the Discount to be applied to online purchases, you must enter the Promo Code correctly (i.e. exact spelling and no spaces) and for purchases over the phone, you must quote the Promo Code to Tower.
  4. If you have saved a quote, but not completed the purchase, prior to commencement of the Promotion Period, this Promotion will not automatically apply to that saved quote.
  5. The Promo Code must only be used once per Eligible Policy.
  6. The Discount will not apply to any renewal of the Eligible Policy. The premium for renewal of an Eligible Policy will be assessed and set at the prevailing premium at the time of each such renewal.
  7. Unless Tower advises otherwise, the Promo Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
  8. The Discount cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
  9. By purchasing any Eligible Policy using the Promo Code during the Promotion Period you are bound by these Promotion Terms.
  10. Tower reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
    1. change or revoke the Discount to ensure that the Discount applied is correct for the purposes of these Promotion Terms;
    2. cancel this Promotion prior to expiry of the Promotion Period;
    3. add policies to the list of Eligible Policies; and/or
    4. change any other aspect of the Promotion at any time.
  1. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram and you fully release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any liability or responsibility for or in connection with this Promotion.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tower Limited and its related companies and affiliates, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or cost suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion.
  3. These Promotion Terms are governed by New Zealand law and disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
