Warrant of Fitness promotion terms

  1. These terms and conditions (Promotion Terms) and Tower's Privacy Statement apply to the "WoF" promotion (Promotion).
  2. The Promoter is Tower Limited (Tower) of Level 5, 136 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
  3. If this Promotion applies and you are an Eligible Customer (as defined in clause 5 below), you have been automatically entered into this Promotion and are deemed to have accepted these Promotion Terms. If you wish to be removed from this Promotion, please contact us using any of the options available here.
  4. The Promotion commences at 12:00am 9 October 2026 and ends at 11:59pm 30 September 2027 (Promotion Period).
  5. Subject to these Promotion Terms, the Promotion is open to Tower customers who (Eligible Customer):
    1. hold an Eligible Policy and during the Promotion Period, renew and pay the renewal premium (either in full or the first instalment if your payment method is by instalment) at the Eligible Policy’s renewal; and
    2. have received an email directly from Tower offering a VTNZ WoF voucher code (see clause 8 below) during the Promotion Period.
  6. For the purposes of this Promotion, an Eligible Policy means the following Tower-branded policies:
    1. Car (Comprehensive); or
    2. Commercial Vehicle (Comprehensive).

    7. But excludes any other insurance policies underwritten by Tower, including Third-Party Fire and Theft and/or Third Party only motor policies.

  1. Tower employees are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
  2. If you are an Eligible Customer, then you will be emailed a one-off voucher code for a Warrant of Fitness at Vehicle Testing New Zealand Limited (VTNZ) valued from $89.00 (incl. GST) (VTNZ WoF Voucher).
  3. The VTNZ WoF Voucher is valid until 30 September 2027.
  4. VTNZ WoF Vouchers can only be redeemed at VTNZ branches. VTNZ WoF Vouchers are not redeemable at VTNZ partner sites nor VTNZ certified repairers.
  5. The VTNZ WoF Voucher must be presented, either in digital or printed form, to the VNTZ branch before your Warrant of Fitness inspection.
  6. VTNZ terms and conditions apply to the use of the VTNZ WoF Voucher and the provision of services by VTNZ. However, clauses 7 and 14 of those terms do not apply to VTNZ WoF Voucher’s issued under this Promotion.
  7. The VTNZ WoF Voucher must only be used once per Eligible Policy.
  8. The VTNZ WoF Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
  9. Policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limits and underwriting criteria apply in respect of all policies.
  10. Tower reserves the right to change these Promotion Terms and/or suspend or cancel or extend the Promotion at any time.
  11. Tower expressly disclaims and does not accept liability in relation to any terms and conditions (or any change to the terms and conditions) relating to the VTNZ WoF Voucher.
  12. Except for liability that may not by law be excluded, Tower will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability, or injury suffered by any person in any way associated with the Promotion.
  13. The Promotion is bound by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
